Medical Centre Assistant

Benenden School are looking to recruit a Medical Centre Assistant to provide administrative support to the Senior Nurse/Medical Centre Manager.

The position involves assisting the Senior Nurse with the administration in the Medical Centre such as making appointments, data entry on to the School computer system, ensuring the smooth running of the School Doctor’s clinics, filing and other administration tasks as directed by the Senior Nurse. You will also be expected to assist with some patient care such as assisting with admission and discharge of patients, chaperoning patients in clinics etc. You should be organised with excellent IT skills, a good knowledge of excel would be beneficial.

Working hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:15am to 2:15pm and Wednesday 8:00am to 1:00pm. This is a term time position plus two days before the students return to School and one day after the end of term.

Benenden is one of the leading boarding schools in Britain. We were founded in 1923 and are situated in 250 acres of attractive parkland in Kent. There are 541 girls in the school, aged 11-18, with approximately 180 of those in the Sixth Form. Meals are provided to staff whilst on duty. The School’s leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool are available for staff to use.
