Design & Technology Teacher – Maternity Cover
For September 2017 Benenden is seeking an inspirational teacher of Design & Technology (Product Design) to teach girls to at least GCSE to cover maternity leave. This exciting post offers the chance to further develop both practical and theoretical work within the curriculum, as well as organise enrichment opportunities related to the subject. The subject is taught in its own specialist building with full CAD/CAM/RP facilities. The post would be suitable either for an experienced teacher seeking an exciting new challenge or for a confident NQT.
Benenden School is an independent boarding school for girls, founded in 1923 and situated in 240 acres of beautiful parkland in rural Kent. At present, there are 540 girls in the School. A considerable amount of new building has been completed in recent years, including a Science Centre, an all-weather pitch, Sports Pavilion and staff housing.
Meals are provided to staff whilst on duty. The School’s leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool are available for staff to use.
